Inside Sales Executive (EMEA)

Job Purpose:

  • + To establish a local and full-time Venafi sales & support presence within the EMEA region
  • + Build awareness, promotion and education of Venafi offerings and to establish the Venafi brand in EMEA
  • + To initiate EMEA-focused prospecting activities related to lead generation and lead qualification of enterprise prospects
  • + To promote and sell all Venafi products and services into a variety of market segments/verticals which require management of encryption technologies across vast infrastructures
  • + To attract new profitable business into the company utilizing all the services offered by the company
  • + To support/develop where necessary specific channel activities to assist with individual partner training and partner promotional activities working with designated channel managers
  • + To provide a high standard of reporting, ensuring that up-to-date records are kept for all projects undertaken and all monthly reports are created on time and to the correct standard

Job Responsibilities:

  • + To ensure that inside sales activity for the company is carried out in a professional manner and is coordinated in-line with the company philosophy. Such work to be accurately completed to a high standard in a timely manner
  • + To drive top-line sales revenue in conjunction with direct EMEA sales representatives with a heavy focus on new customer development
  • + Over time, nourish and develop existing customer expansion revenue opportunities through greater consumption and expansion of Venafi products
  • + To drive lead generation activities, work closely with EMEA & Venafi corporate marketing to build the EMEA sales pipeline & funnel, and develop leads into qualified prospects willing to meet with the EMEA sales team
  • + Provide inside support to Venafi direct EMEA sales representatives including training, joint-call participation, proposal creation and logistical support when needed
  • + Provide inside support to Venafi channel partners including training, joint-call participation, proposal creation and logistical support when needed
  • + Handle the health and welfare needs of customers by area of EMEA
  • + Maintain accurate records of all contacts, accounts, opportunities and related issues to produce accurate up-to-date information within the Venafi CRM system

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • + At least three years proven experience in an inside sales capacity related to enterprise software technology, security or similar products
  • + College Degree or tertiary qualifications in information technology or equivalent
  • + Proven Inside Sales track record
  • + Tenacity and a hunter mentality
  • + Strong prospecting, sales and customer service skills
  • + CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com
  • + Ability to effectively report, justify and communicate sales forecasting and logging of sales events
  • + Sense of urgency, self-managed and goal oriented attitude
  • + Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • + Willingness to travel occasionally if necessary

Preferred Experience:

  • + Knowledge of the information security marketplace across Europe
  • + The ability to speak foreign languages prevalent in the EMEA region
  • + Experience with Salesforce.com
