Job Responsibilities:

• + Venafi is seeking an engineer with .NET, C#, and Web development experience to play a key role in designing and developing its core product engine and web-based administration console for Venafi's current and next generation products.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• + Extensive experience programming ASP.NET using C#
• + Thorough understanding of ASP.NET Page and Control life-cycles, ViewState, and Session management
• + A minimum of 2 years developing ASP.NET web sites in C# using Visual Studio.NET
• + The ability to write clean, consistent, well-documented C# code following a previously established style
• + Must be able to test and debug your own code, including unit-tests
• + Must be able to write pages that display in all major web browsers; IE 7, IE 8, Firefox 3, and Safari
• + XHTML knowledge is a requirement
• + Programmatic database access via SQL queries and stored procedures
• + Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goal(s).
• + Develop software on schedule, adhering to department standards and processes
• + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• + Packaged software development experience
• + Administration console development
• + Knowledge in SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle
• + ASP.NET and AJAX (prefer other toolkits than MS AJAX)
• + JavaScript)
• + Using CSS
• + Prior experience using XML, XSL / XSLT for the web will be useful
• + Experience developing internationalized applications
• + Experience with the ExtJS framework
