On Demand: Case Study Webinar: “Security and Availability: Certificate and Key Management at First Data and Cisco”

The following customer case study session was presented live at the 2011 RSA Conference in San Francisco: “Security and Availability: Certificate and Key Management at First Data and Cisco.” Over one hundred RSA Conference delegates attended the presentation and a lively discussion ensued during the question and answer portion, with number of valuable questions from the audience. Paul Turner of Venafi served as the session moderator.

Increased dependence on encryption in security–conscious organizations heightens the need for enterprise management solutions. First Data has always focused on protecting customer data, but struggled to manage its growing certificate inventory. Manual methods led to failures on authentication systems. Cisco Systems uses thousands of keys & certificates to secure communications and protect data, but manual key management proved error–prone. Learn how Cisco and First Data learned valuable lessons in their search for enterprise certificate and key management solutions, and reduced the unquantifiable and unmanaged risks associated with encryption deployments.

Session Speakers:
