Security professionals all over the world are getting ready for Infosecurity Europe 2018. At the conference, they'll be able to check out some of the leading security solutions displayed by over 400 exhibitors. Encryption Demystified – Stop the Breaches with a Better Encryption Strategy

Accomplished educator, speaker and software developer Linus Chang will provide a primer on encryption including the various types and methods. This will involve discussing the strengths and limits of encryption as well as identifying how organizations can create an encryption strategy. Attendees can in turn use this knowledge to assist their employers in achieving compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other standards.

Combining Encryption & Machine Learning to Defeat the Insider Threat

Sudeep Venkatesh, chief product officer of Egress Software Technologies, intends to discuss how enterprises can protect themselves against insider threats using a combination of encryption and machine learning. The presentation will explore how a solid encryption strategy can help counter human error and employee negligence. It will also underscore how to use attendee specific steps to help prioritise encryption in their employer's cybersecurity strategy.

10,000 Keys for 10,000 Castles: An Innovative Solution to Mass Data Loss

John Jacob and Kully Johal, both of whom work for GBR14 Ltd, will present how to manage data access to prevent data loss. Specifically, they will help conference registrants learn new approaches to insider access, view data security from a different perspective and increase user security without increasing user complexity. They'll also use their company's technology to demonstrate how all of this can be done.

Kublai Khan, Blockchain & the Democratisation of Identity

SailPoint CTO and CISO Darran Rolls is set to discuss identity governance and management. In particular, his talk will go into how identity governance implementations are helping organizations stay competitive and remain compliant with relevant laws and legislation. The presentation will also focus on how organizations can use identity as a business enabler along with blockchain technology to revolutionize their identity governance programs moving forward.
