Venafi, the inventor of and market leader in Enterprise Key and Certificate Management (EKCM) solutions, today announced a partnership with Milestone Systems, Inc., a value-added integrator of network security equipment and services, to deliver the industry's only recognized automated EKCM solution to the Milestone global customer base. Designed specifically for enterprise environments, Venafi solutions provide automated management capabilities for the widest range of digital certificate and encryption key technologies used by today's enterprises, including symmetric keys, SSH keys, asymmetric keys and digital certificates. By partnering with Venafi, Milestone Systems will be able to maximize the value of its customer engagements by providing additional management capabilities that improve security, compliance and system availability.
“When it comes to security, our customers want to do four things: reduce risk, eliminate system downtime, ensure the highest degrees of security, and enforce compliance. Milestone Systems has been delivering solutions that make this possible for 10 years,” said Mark Greer, COO, Milestone Systems, Inc. “Our new partnership with Venafi will allow us to deliver an additional layer of security and compliance that our customers have been demanding, further eliminating unquantified and unmanaged risk, improving security and compliance, and improving systems performance.”
“Organizations are suffering from high-profile, costly and embarrassing WikiLeaks-style breaches and Stuxnet–style attacks on a regular basis; the industry as a whole needs to improve on prevention and response. For almost a decade, our solutions have allowed enterprise–class organizations to dramatically improve their security and compliance postures and enhance systems performance,” said Jeff Hudson, Venafi CEO. “Milestone Systems has deep relationships with some of the world's largest organizations. By partnering with them, we'll be able to provide our leading risk–reduction and compliance solutions to a wider customer base.”

During RSA Conference 2011, Monday, Feb. 14 through Thursday, Feb. 18, Venafi will be providing on-demand demonstrations of Director 6 in its booth (# 1843) during exhibition hours.
